BIG BAR, California (August 2, 2016) — At least one person was hospitalized Tuesday morning following a collision into a creek off Highway 299 at Prairie Creek Road in Trinity County, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 5:37 a.m. The driver of a 4-door Honda sedan veered off the roadway about 50 feet and down the ravine about 30 feet. The vehicle overturned on dry ground where at least one person suffered injuries. Paramedics airlifted at least one person to a hospital for undisclosed injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by police.
