Rider Dies in Collision on Benson Avenue
Chino, CA (June 23, 2022) – Troy Engleton, a 33-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Benson Avenue.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department News reported Engleton was riding a motorcycle traveling in the streets of Chino Wednesday evening. In the area near the 12000 block of Benson Avenue, the motorcyclist collided with another vehicle of unknown make and model. Preliminary investigation revealed the catastrophic incident took place at about 9:12 p.m.
Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Chino
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the rider suffering in serious injuries. Paramedics rendered first aid to the victim, then transported him to Chino Valley Medical Center. According to the dispatch, the patient sadly succumbed to their injuries; and medical personnel pronounced him deceased in the emergency room. Authorities later identified the deceased as Troy Engleton, of Chino.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the violent crash.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the accident on Benton Avenue in Chino.
