Troy Varnado, 25, Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Cedar Avenue
BLOOMINGTON (December 22, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident along Cedar Avenue on Friday evening, according to The Press Enterprise and KTLA.
San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 25-year-old Troy Fredrick Varnado, of Compton.
As per the reports, California Highway Patrol said Varnado was seen walking in the traffic lanes of Cedar Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle that was headed north at the time.

The victim was then hit by another car and was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision was reported on December 21 at 6:31 p.m., just south of Marygold Avenue.
Officials affirmed that both drivers involved did not stop to render aid and fled. The first vehicle, described as a silver 2015 Toyota Tundra, was found abandoned on Magnolia Street, north of Marygold.
The second car was believed to be a 4-door sedan. The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact CHP at 909-383-4247.
