2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 210 Freeway

SUN VALLEY, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2023) — A two-vehicle truck accident on the eastbound 210 Freeway happened Friday morning near La Tuna Canyon Road in Sun Valley.

The collision occurred around 5:54 a.m. on Sept. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported there was debris scattered across all traffic lanes after the semi-truck and sedan collided on the freeway. It happened in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the 210 Freeway.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those injured in the crash. One person was transported to USC Verdugo Hills Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert due to the crash, but it was canceled by 6:47 a.m.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 210 Freeway in Sun Valley.
