Semi-Truck Crash at Avenue 20 and Road 20 in Madera County
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 2, 2021) — A truck accident at Avenue 20 and Road 20 happened Thursday afternoon in Berenda in Madera County.
The major-injury crash happened about 12:31 p.m. on Dec. 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a semi-truck and a Ford F-150 pickup truck collided at the Berenda intersection due to unknown circumstances.
Firefighters responded to extricate the trapped pickup truck driver from the wreckage. The motorist suffered major injuries in the crash and paramedics transported the person to Community Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
The vehicles blocked the roadway and the pickup truck suffered major front-end damage in the crash.
CHP investigators seek to determine fault for the collision.
