Big Rig Truck Hits Cars on State Route 37
SONOMA, Calif. (July 26, 2023) — A westbound semi-truck rear-ended several cars today in an accident on Highway 37 also known as Sears Point Road in Sonoma County.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred on State Route 37 around 1:16 p.m. on July 26th, just west of Noble Road in the Sears Point area, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

A driver in a Freightliner truck reportedly crashed into the back of two vehicles. One of the vehicles became stuck underneath the truck.
The drivers of a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Prius were involved in the truck accident.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details at this time.
Tow trucks responded to remove the Corolla and Prius as both vehicles sustained major front and rear-end damage in the collision, the report said. Police issued a SigAlert as both directions of Highway 37 were blocked by vehicles.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the truck accident on Sears Point Road aka Highway 37.
