Tanker Truck, Pickup Crash on State Route 41
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (July 28, 2023) — A truck accident involving a pickup and a red fuel tanker truck happened Friday morning on Highway 41, near Easton just south of Fresno.
The major-injury collision occurred around 6:01 a.m. on state Route 41 at East Adams Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

CHP investigators stated the Peterbilt truck driver was heading southbound on Highway 41 and the driver in the black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling westbound.
The two trucks collided and the pickup truck overturned and landed on its wheels, the report said. The pickup truck driver was apparently not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Paramedics responded and rushed both drivers to Community Regional Medical Center. The pickup truck driver suffered major injuries.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault. A report by Fox 26 News stated police are investigating whether the westbound pickup truck driver drove through the traffic light prior to the collision.
The truck accident on Highway 41 remains under investigation.
