Pickup, Semi-Truck in Fiery Crash on Highway 99
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2024) – A fiery truck accident shut down part of Highway 99 last night near Avenue 200 in Tulare County.
The two-vehicle crash occurred just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17th, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A pickup truck became engulfed in flames on northbound Highway 99 after colliding with a semi-truck near Avenue 200.
Authorities had to close down the Avenue 200 on-ramp due to the collision, but traffic lanes reopened at around 8:30 p.m., police said.
Paramedics responded, but it’s unknown how many were injured.
Meanwhile, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
