
Head-on Truck Accident on Highway 12
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2025) — A semi-truck was involved in a head-on crash Thursday morning on Highway 12 in the Terminous area, just west of Lodi in San Joaquin County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:37 a.m. on Jan. 30th, just east of Tower Park, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the truck and a silver Volkswagen Golf were involved, but it’s unknown what led up to the accident. The truck was blocking both eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details at this time.
The roadway reopened to traffic around 7:43 a.m. and the SigAlert was canceled.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 12 in Terminous.
