Semi-Truck Overturns on State Route 4 in Brentwood
BRENTWOOD, Calif. (May 30, 2024) — A major injury crash involving a semi-truck happened on Highway 4 and Walnut Boulevard Thursday in Brentwood.
The drivers of a semi-truck and a silver Honda Civic collided at around 8:37 a.m. on May 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reportedly closed down State Route 4 between Walnut Boulevard and Vasco Road due to the traffic accident. The semi-truck overturned onto its side and reportedly “folded up” with the “driver was hanging out of a window,” the report said.
Police requested paramedics responded and issued a SigAlert due to the roadway being blocked by the vehicles.
At least one person suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the truck crash on Highway 4.
