Truck Crashes with Tesla, Into Home at Channing Avenue
FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 22, 2020) — One man was hospitalized, another suspected of DUI Wednesday night after a crash into a central Fresno home at Channing and McKinley avenues.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21 in Fresno. Fresno police say the truck driver was heading northbound on Channing Avenue when the driver collided with a westbound Tesla traveling on McKinley Avenue, according to ABC 30 News.

Upon impact, the Tesla wound up in a yard and the truck plowed into a a house. Meanwhile, the homeowner suffered minor injuries when the truck crashed into their home. The person was knocked off their living room couch and was fortunately not seriously injured. Afterwards, the truck driver failed a sobriety test and may be facing DUI charges.
Finally, paramedics responded and the driver of the Tesla was taken to the hospital with injuries.
Police are investigating the collision and will determine if charges will apply.
