Truck Hits Teen on E-Bike in Clovis Accident at Athens and Perry Avenues

Teen Riding Bicycle Seriously Injured After Being Struck by Truck in Clovis
CLOVIS, Calif. (August 14, 2025) — A teenager was rushed to the hospital with major injuries Wednesday afternoon after being struck on an e-bike by a truck on Athens Avenue in a Clovis neighborhood, police said.
The collision happened around 1:05 p.m. near Athens and Perry avenues. According to investigators, the teen was riding the electric bicycle and towing a small trailer carrying a pressure washer, which they planned to use for a trash can cleaning job.
Police said the teen was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The truck driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The teen was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
