Two Injured in Big Rig Truck Accident on State Route 99
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (August 12, 2024) — A driver in a semi-truck and a white pickup truck were involved in a crash on Highway 99 near Avenue 12 in Madera County.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 11th, according to ABC 30 News.
The truck driver reportedly made an unsafe lane change and they collided with the pickup truck in the northbound lanes, but the two vehicles crashed into a temporary construction zone barrier before crossing into southbound lanes.
The pickup truck sustained major front-end damage in the crash and was towed from the scene.
Paramedics responded and transported both drivers to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment of minor injuries.
Investigators from the CHP’s Madera station are working on determining fault for the truck crash on highway 99 in Madera County.
