Semi-Truck and SUV Collide in El Centro
EL CENTRO, Calif. (August 7, 2024) — A semi-truck and SUV were involved in a major-injury crash on Wednesday at La Brucherie Road and West Wahl Road in south El Centro.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 9:21 a.m. on August 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances at the intersection. Iti’s unknown which direction the vehicles were traveling, but there are stop signs only for traffic entering Wahl Road from Brucherie Road.
Paramedics responded and rushed at least one person from the white SUV to a hospital for treatment of major injuries, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Wahl Road in El Centro.
