Juvenile Hospitalized After Crash on 80 Freeway at Floriston Way Sunday
Truckee, CA (August 30, 2021) – Two people, including a child, suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Interstate 80 Freeway on August 29, Sunday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle with multiple occupants crashed for an unknown reason in the area of 80 Freeway and Floriston Way. CHP logged the incident around 6:43 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found as many as four parties involved in the wreck. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to all the victims. According to the CHP dispatch, the driver and his son both suffered injuries as a result of the collision. An ambulance transported the two parties to a hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Additional details on the crash remained unclear at this time. Given that, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car accident in Truckee.
