At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Interstate 80 Freeway Saturday
Truckee, CA (September 18, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on the Interstate 80 Freeway resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated two vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of the freeway at the Farad Road offramp. At this time, the description of the cars involved in the crash remained unknown.

Shortly after 12:11 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the site. First responders found at least one person with major injuries. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
Several debris ended up scattered across the freeway after the crash. Given that, sweeper trucks were requested at the scene to clean up the mess.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate the precise cause of the car accident on Interstate 80 in Truckee.
