Pickup, Jeep Collide at Truckee Intersection
TRUCKEE, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2025) — A pickup truck and SUV were involved in a Truckee car accident Friday at Sugar Bowl Road and Old Donner Summit Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at 11:46 a.m. on Jan. 10th, near Lake Mary, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white Jeep Wrangler reportedly rear-ended a Dodge 1500 pickup truck due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded and transported one person to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the scene. The Dodge had rear-end damage and the Jeep had major front-end damage, the report said.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on Sugar Bowl Road in Truckee.
