Patrick Smiley, 36, Killed and Amber Harder, 30, Injured After Truckee Crash on Glenshire Drive
TRUCKEE, California (May 9, 2016) – Driver Patrick Smiley was killed and his solo-passenger Amber Harder was injured following a collision on Glenshire Drive at Old Highway 40, according to an article by Modbee.
The accident happened on Sunday at around 7:21 p.m.
The article stated that a 26-foot Enterprise rental box truck was traveling on the westbound Glenshire Drive when an eastbound Suzuki SX4 suddenly crossed the center line.
The event led the Suzuki colliding with the truck.
The force from the impact resulted in fatal injuries to 36-year-old Suzuki driver Smiley, of Chandler.
While the 30-year-old Harder, of Truckee, sustained major trauma. He was immediately airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center for confined treatment.
The Modbee published that the truck occupants were not hurt from the incident.
