Motorcyclist Killed in Tujunga Crash on Angeles Forest Highway Near Clearcreek
TUJUNGA, CA (November 5, 2022) – A crash on Angeles Forest Highway killed a motorcyclist in Tujunga.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 9 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said the motorcycle rider and a car collided for an unknown reason in Tujunga. The two crashed on the Angeles Forest Highway near Clearcreek Truck Trail.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The bike caught fire due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Mile Marker 22.82.
Medical personnel confirmed that the motorcyclist died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Tujunga crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the northbound and southbound lanes of Angeles Forest Highway to shut down for a time after the incident.
