Rollover Crash Near Porterville in Tulare County
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (July 20, 2021) — A Road 248 car accident happened Tuesday morning at West Teapot Dom Avenue in Tulare County.
The collision happened near Porterville about 4:59 a.m. on July 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck collided with a car before it crashed into a tree. Also, the car overturned onto its roof. It’s unknown what led up to the Porterville car accident on Road 248.
Both vehicles suffered major damage and required tow trucks. Meanwhile, at least one person suffered major injuries in the collision. The CHP report did not mention how many people were hospitalized. Also, the names of the drivers involved are unknown at this time.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the Tulare County crash and liability.
