1 Injured in Tulare County Crash Highway 198 Near Road 180
TULARE COUNTY, CA (September 9, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash near Highway 198 and Road 180 in Tulare County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck occurred on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the accident shortly after 3:30 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Tulare County. They crashed on Highway 198, known as Avenue 296, just south of Road 180.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Highway 198 near Road 180 to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Tulare County crash.
