2 Injured in Tulare County Car Crash on Highway 43 Near Avenue 108
TULARE COUNTY, CA (September 17, 2021) – A car crash injured at least two people on Highway 43 near Avenue 108 in Tulare County.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Friday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 5:40 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason near Corcoran in Tulare County. They crashed on Highway 43, just south of Avenue 108.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described the cars as a 2013 black Honda Accord and a pickup truck pulling a horse trailer. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
A total of two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. One patient sustained major injuries while the other survived with minor injuries.
An air ambulance took one of the victims to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Highway 43 near Avenue 108 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Tulare County car crash is still under investigation.
