
1 Killed in Tulare County Crash Near Highway 65 and Avenue 244
TULARE COUNTY, CA (February 4, 2023) – A crash killed at least one person near Highway 65 and Avenue 244 in Tulare County.
According to an article published by the ABC 30 News, the tragic accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers responded to the wreck shortly after 6 p.m.
The incident happened on February 4 when several cars collided in Tulare County near Lindsay and Exeter. The vehicles crashed near the intersection of Highway 65 and Avenue 244.
Multiple Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol said one car ended up pinned between the other vehicles due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual died as a result of the accident. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Highway 65 and Avenue 244 to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Tulare County crash is still under investigation.
