1 Killed, 1 Badly Injured in Tulare County Crash Near Road 152 and Avenue 208
TULARE COUNTY, CA (November 12, 2021) – A crash killed one person and badly injured another near Road 152 and Avenue 208 in Tulare County.
According to an article published by the ABC 30 News, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 5 pm.
The incident began when two vehicles were traveling in different directions on Road 152, approaching Avenue 208, in Tulare County.
The California Highway Patrol said one of the cars involved tried to make a left turn onto Avenue 208. In the process, it struck the other vehicle which then rolled over upon impact.
2 Vehicles Collide
A 48-year-old man ended up ejected from the overturned car as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The other driver, a 23-year-old woman, survived with moderate injuries. Medical personnel took her to the Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Road 152 and Avenue 208 to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Tulare County crash is still under investigation.
