 Tulare County Fatal Crash Highway 43, Avenue 108 (April 26) TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (April 26, 2021) —  A fatal crash on Highway 43 at Avenue 108 Monday left at least one person dead and another injured in Tulare County.

The Highway 43 fatal crash happened about 7:52 a.m. on April 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Additionally, three vehicles were involved in the collision including a Ford Mustang and a semi-truck that overturned onto its side.

Meanwhile, it’s unknown at this time what led up to the fatal, multi-vehicle Tulare County crash, but investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements.

One person became trapped in the wreckage, but was freed by arriving firefighters with the Tulare County Fire Department. A medical helicopter landed on the highway to transport at least one injured person. What we do know is that paramedics transported one driver with a broken leg to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia.

Also, police have not released the identities of those hurt or killed in the collision.

Investigators seek to determine the cause of the deadly crash as well as liability.
