2 Killed in Tulare County Crash on Highway 190 Near Pleasant Oak Drive
TULARE COUNTY, CA (September 1, 2022) – A head-on crash killed two people on Highway 190 near Pleasant Oak Drive in Tulare County.
According to The Porterville Recorder and ABC 30 News, the tragic accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 11 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason on Highway 190 near Porterville in Tulare County. They crashed near Pleasant Oak Drive, east of Success Valley Drive.
2 Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol described the cars as a Ford and a GMC. One of them then rolled over and landed on its roof due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that two individuals died as a result of the collision.
The names of the deceased parties have not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the cause of the fatal Tulare County crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced a stretch of Highway 190 to shut down near near Pleasant Oak following the wreck.
