Motorcyclist Seriously injured in Tulare County Crash on Highway 216
TULARE COUNTY, CA (November 28, 2021) – A motorcyclist was severely injured after a crash on Highway 216 in Tulare County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 2:09 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Tulare County. The two crashed on Highway 216, known as Lomitas Drive.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near Dry Creek Road. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment. The incident log did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stayed following the wreck. Officers forced a stretch of Highway 216 to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the Tulare County crash is still under investigation.
