Truck and Car Collide on Highway 99 in Tulare
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 8, 2021) — A Tulare crash on Highway 99 involving major injuries happened Friday at Rankin Road.
The collision happened in the fast lane about 9:41 a.m. on Oct. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A red Chevrolet Malibu collided with a semi-tractor trailer truck carrying 41,000 pounds of pork. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the crash between the two motorists.
During the collision, the Chevrolet Malibu also crashed through a chain-link fence near Tex Drive, police said.

At least one person suffered major injuries in the two-vehicle crash, but the report does not specify the person’s age or gender.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and rushed at least one person to a hospital.
Tow trucks removed both vehicles from the scene of the collision.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the Highway 99 Tulare crash.
