Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Collision at Avenue 280 and Road 176 Thursday
Tulare County, CA (May 21, 2021) – A motorcycle rider died following a road accident in the area of Avenue 280 and Road 176 on May 20.
According to Your Central Valley, a man was riding a 2005 Harley Davidson in Tulare County Thursday evening. When the motorcyclist approached the intersection at Avenue 280 and Road 176, he apparently failed to slow down to a stopped traffic.
The rider ended up slamming into the back of a van waiting to make a turn at the crossing.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Tulare County, May 20
Shortly after 9 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location and found the motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries. Authorities later confirmed the man, a Farmersville resident, sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the occupants of the van involved in the horrible crash.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal motorcycle accident in Tulare County.
