Cyclist Killed in Collision Near Tulloch Dam Road
Tuolumne County, CA (November 25, 2022) – A 67-year-old man died following a bicycle accident that occurred on Highway 120, the Modesto Bee News reported.
Officials said 22-year-old Leanda Lopez was behind the wheel of a 2005 Subaru heading east on the highway. When the car approached the area near Tulloch Dam Road, it struck a bicyclist traveling in the same traffic lanes. The horrible crash took place at about 10:40 a.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the cyclist ejected from the bike. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the victim found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away.
The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal crash happened on Highway 120 in Tuolumne County.
