Turlock Car Accident on Monte Vista Avenue; William Pizarro Killed

1 Dead, 2 Injured in Car Crash on Monte Vista Avenue Saturday

Turlock, CA (March 31, 2021) – William Shawn Pizarro died, and two others suffered injuries following a car accident on Monte Vista Avenue on March 27, Saturday.

The Turlock Journal published an article indicating 19-year-old William Pizarro was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling on W. Monte Vista Avenue.

When the car approached the 3500 block of the roadway, the vehicle veered off the traffic lanes and struck a fire hydrant. The car continued moving and hit and irrigation box before coming to a stop.

The horrible crash took place at approximately 12:20 a.m.

First responders found William Pizarro, and two other parties trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters reportedly worked extensively to pull out the three victims.

According to the news article published online, William Pizarro suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance rushed the patient to a hospital bu William Pizarro sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Public records mentioned William Pizarro was a graduate of Orestimba High School. Furthermore, he enlisted in the Navy last year and was serving as an aviation machinist mate at Naval Air Station Lemoore.

Authorities added the 20-year-old male passenger sustained life-threatening injuries while the 18-year-old male passenger sustained major to moderate injuries.

Additional details on the wreck have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the tragic car crash in Turlock.
