1 Injured in Turlock DUI Crash at Minaret and East Avenues
TURLOCK, CA (November 20, 2021) – One was injured after a DUI crash at Minaret Avenue and East Avenue in Turlock.
According to an article published by The Turlock Area News, the accident took place last month on October 11. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:52 p.m.
Turlock police said the incident happened when a white Ford pickup truck and a silver Honda sedan collided. The two crashed at the intersection of North Minaret and East avenues.
2 Cars Collide
Both cars obtained moderate damage due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the driver of the Ford hurt.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police determined that the motorist in the Honda was under the influence when the incident occurred. They soon arrested him on suspicion of DUI.
Officers shut down the area of Minaret and East avenues to gather evidence and more information. The Turlock crash is still under investigation.
