Pedestrian Killed in Turlock Crash on Main Street Near Burger King
TURLOCK, CA (November 8, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian on West Main Street near the Burger King restaurant in Turlock.
According to an article published by The Turlock Journal, the tragic accident took place late Saturday night. Officers reported the collision shortly after 10 p.m.
The incident happened on November 5 when a female pedestrian was walking across West Main Street near the Burger King restaurant in Turlock. At the same time, e 2005 Toyota sedan was going west.
Turlock police said the 71-year-old woman crossed the two lanes and the turn lane when the car hit her in the 1600 block of the Main Street.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and then found the victim down on the ground. She sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident.
Paramedics rushed the patient to a hospital where she soon died. Her name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the sedan stopped and stayed at the site following the incident.
Officers forced a stretch of Main Street to shut down for five hours after the Turlock pedestrian collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still under investigation.
