3 Major Injuries; 1 Minor in Tustin Crash 5 Freeway
TUSTIN, Calif. (May 29, 2018) — Four people were hurt including three with serious injuries Sunday when a motorist crashed into an overturned vehicle on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place about 7:30 p.m., just north of the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway. The Orange County Fire Authority responded to help the victims including three people who suffered traumatic injuries. One person had minor injuries and all four of them were taken to hospitals for treatment.

Police are investigating this collision to determine fault. At this time, it is unknown if the collision was unavoidable by the oncoming vehicle. Hopefully there are also witnesses who can help authorities figure out the sequence of events that led to the crash.
