2 Injured in Tustin Crash at Walnut and Franklin Avenues
TUSTIN, Calif. (Aug. 3, 2022) — A two-vehicle Tustin car accident happened Tuesday night at Walnut Avenue and Franklin Avenue.
The rear-end collision occurred at the Tustin intersection about 10:42 p.m. on August 2nd, according to a report by County News.
The drivers of a white Toyota Prius and a black Mercedes Benz were involved. The Prius was stopped at the intersection when it was allegedly rear-ended by the driver in the Mercedes, the report said. Also, the black Mercedes continued forward about 300 feet and hit or stopped in front of a traffic light pole.
Paramedics responded to the scene where they located an elderly man and a another man suffering from undisclosed injuries from the crash. They took both drivers by ambulance to hospitals for treatment.
Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together evidence to determine fault for the collision.
