Teen Boy Killed, 6 Critically Injured in Tustin Crash on Legacy Road
TUSTIN (March 23, 2018) – One was killed and several others were injured after a traffic collision along Legacy Road on Friday afternoon, according to ABC 7 News and NBC Los Angeles.
The accident occurred at about 2:50 p.m. in the 16000 block of Legacy Road. A vehicle reportedly crashed between Tustin Ranch Road and Warner Avenue, across from the Amalfi Apartment complex.
As per the reports, Orange County Fire Authority said an Acura Infiniti M37 was going east on Legacy Road when it swerved off the roadway. The car carrying seven people was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed at the time.
The driver of the Infiniti then slammed into a cement post and lost control of the vehicle. The sedan struck the back of a parked moving van and ultimately rolled over.

Officials affirmed that the parties involved were extricated from the wreckage using the Jaws of Life following the crash. A 17-year-old boy died as a result of the wreck.
The other occupants were transported to the hospital and were listed in critical condition. They were described as three 17-year-old boys, two 17-year-old girls and a 20-year-old woman.
The names of the deceased and injured victims have not been yet released. Meanwhile, the reports indicated that at least two individuals did not have seat belts on since the car only secured five passengers.
The incident remains under investigation.
