2-Vehicle Collision Near 4th Street Offramp Friday
Tustin, CA (February 3, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Route 55, also known as Costa Mesa Freeway.
On January 28, Friday, two vehicles collided on the northbound lanes of the highway in Tustin. The California Highway Patrol group mentioned the wreck involved a black Ford Escape, and a black sedan.
CHP logged the incident at about 5:39 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the site, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. Our sources later confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Investigators later discussed one motorist apparently fled the scene following the collision. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the car crash on State Route 55 in Tustin.
