Motorcyclist Injured in Twin Lakes Possible Hit-and-Run at Cliff Drive and 14th Avenue

TWIN LAKES, CA (April 11, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a possible hit-and-run crash at Cliff Drive and 14th Avenue in Twin Lakes.

The California Highway Patrol dispatch team received a call about the accident on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:36 p.m.

According to CHP, a vehicle struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection at East Cliff Drive and 14th Avenue in Twin Lakes.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Blacks Beach. They found the motorcyclist hurt and down on the ground as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the victim to the Dominican Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, the male driver involved pulled over and exited his vehicle following the incident. He went back in and apparently fled the area.

Officers soon located the motorist. Authorities forced the road to shut down for a time after the Twin Lakes hit-and-run crash.
