Two Critically Injured in Adelanto Crash on Highway 395 and Rancho Road

Two Injured in T-Bone Collision at Adelanto Intersection

ADELANTO, Calif. (March 21, 2025) — Two people were critically injured this past Tuesday afternoon in an Adelanto crash at US Highway 395 and Rancho Road.

The T-bone collision occurred around 4:45 p.m. on March 18th between a white 2010 Mazda CX-7 and a white 2020 Chevrolet Impala, according to VVNG.

Local sheriff’s officials determined the northbound Mazda was traveling on Highway 395 when it’s driver crashed into the driver’s side of the westbound Chevrolet Impala traveling on Rancho Road.

One of the motorists failed to stop at the intersection prior to the collision which is controlled by traffic lights and left-turn signals in all directions.

Both vehicles went off the roadway and wound up in a dirt field on the northwest corner, the report said.

The Chevrolet had major driver’s side damage and the Mazda had major front-end damage following the collision.

Paramedics with the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded and gave CPR to one person who was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Meanwhile, the second person had more severe injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
