Two-Vehicle Collision at Carrillo and Santa Barbara Streets
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Dec. 9, 2024) — Two drivers were injured in a crash Friday night at Carrillo Street and Santa Barbara Street in Santa Barbara.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 6th between a black Chevrolet Suburban SUV and a gray Toyota Camry sedan, according to Noozhawk.
Both motorists became trapped in their vehicles, but responding firefighters from the Santa Barbara City Fire Department extricated them and an AMR ambulance transported them both to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The Santa Barbara Police Department closed down the intersection to conduct an investigation into what happened.
