Two Men Hospitalized After Fiery Tustin Crash

TNSTIN, Calif. (Dec. 29, 2021) – A solo-vehicle crash into a tree on Tustin Ranch Road late Tuesday night left two men with injuries.

The fiery crash took place about 11:16 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28th near Pioneer Road, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Two men were riding in the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver allegedly lost control and collided into a tree on the side of the roadway. The vehicle split in half during the impact and caught on fire. Also, the impact caused both men to be partially ejected and the tree propelled about 20 to 30 feet.

Paramedics responded and both men from the vehicle were rushed to a hospital with undisclosed injuries, fire officials said.

The condition of the men is unknown at this time, but they likely suffered serious injuries in the Tustin Ranch Road crash.

Investigators seek to determine the cause of the collision.
