Two Injured in Alleged Fresno DUI Crash Highway 99, Highway 180
Suspected DUI Driver Critically Injured
FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2023) — Two people were injured Monday night in an alleged DUI crash on Highway 99 at the Highway 180 interchange in Fresno.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on Nov. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol and ABC 30 News.
An unidentified woman was allegedly driving under the influence and slammed into a concrete barrier before hitting a second driver.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rushed two people to a hospital including the suspected DUI driver who sustained major injuries. The other driver was treated for moderate injuries at the hospital, but they are not life-threatening.
Police closed down two northbound lanes to conduct an investigation as well as clear debris from the roadway.
