Two Injured in Crash at Brimhall Road, Renfro Road in Bakersfield

Solo-Vehicle Collision Results in Major Injuries

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2026) — Two men were critically injured Saturday in a solo-vehicle rollover crash at Brimhall Road and Renfro Road in Bakersfield.

According to a report by the Bakersfield Police Department an investigation is underway into the cause of the crash reported at 12:12 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19th, 2026, in the west Bakersfield area.

Detectives working on the case determined a westbound silver Nissan sedan was traveling on Brimhall Road and failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The vehicle was traveling at high speed and crashed into a field where it hit a large dirt beam and overturned.

It’s unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
