Two Injured in Crash Off 60 Freeway onto 101 Freeway in Downtown LA

Car Falls From 60 Freeway onto 101 Near Downtown LA

LOS ANGLES, Calif. (June 10, 2025) – Two young men were badly hurt Tuesday after their vehicle drove off the Pomona (60) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles and fell onto the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway.

The solo-vehicle crash happened around 12:27 p.m. on June 10th from the eastbound Pomona Freeway near Euclid Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The vehicle was located in a southbound lane of the 101 Freeway near Soto Street, police said.

The occupants of the vehicle became trapped inside the overturned vehicle, but firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department extricated them upon their arrival.

Both were transported by ambulances to a hospital in serious condition.

Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine what caused the crash and they closed down two traffic lanes on southbound 101 and issued a SigAlert.
