Two Injured in Highway 101 Rollover Crash in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (April 28, 2026) — Two people suffered injuries in a rollover crash Sunday involving a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a gray sedan on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara.

Paramedics from the Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded to the crash at 4:45 p.m. on April 26th which happened on the southbound side of Highway 101 at Las Positas Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver and passenger from the pickup truck managed to climb out of the vehicle which came to a rest at the embankment on the right side of the highway, the report said.

Both people had moderate injuries and were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by American Medical Response ambulances.

Detectives from the California Highway Patrol Santa Barbara station are handling the investigation.
