Two Injured in Shell Gas Station Crash on Beach Boulevard in Stanton
Speeding Car Crashes into Sheriff’s Dept. SUVs at Gas Station
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (March 31, 2025) — Two drivers were hospitalized early Monday when a speeding car crashed into four vehicles at a Shell Gas Station on Beach Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue in Stanton.
The collision occurred around 2:15 a.m. on March 31st at Beach Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue, according to the Orange County Register.
A driver in a silver sedan was reportedly speeding down Beach Boulevard and lost control of their vehicle. The car crashed into three Orange County Sheriff’s Department SUVs parked on the corner of the intersection near the gas station.
Police were at the scene to investigate an SUV fire at the station and that vehicle was also hit by the silver sedan.
Firefighters were working to put out the flames when the crash occurred and fortunately, they were not hurt.
The silver sedan wound up on its side and wedged between the three sheriff’s vehicles.
Paramedics transported two people to the hospital with injuries including the driver from the SUV that was on fire, as well as the driver of the second car that struck all the vehicles.
The sheriff’s deputies were not in the SUVs at the time of the Stanton gas station crash.
Tow trucks removed the silver car due to major front-end damage and a shattered windshield and an SUV with major passenger side damage.
