Two Drivers Killed in Violent Victorville Crash
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (March 27, 2025) — Two SUV drivers died Wednesday afternoon in a Victorville crash involving a semi-truck on Highway 395, north of Bear Valley Road.
UPDATE: Saul A. Carbajal of Victorville was identified as the driver in the black SUV.
The three-vehicle collision occurred at 5:28 p.m. on March 26, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The traffic accident involved the drivers of a semi-truck, a beige 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, and a black SUV, the report said.
Authorities reported the driver in the black SUV tried to pass the gray SUV and moved into oncoming traffic where it crashed head-on with an a semi-truck.
The black SUV also collided with the gray SUV, killing both drivers who died at the scene. The truck driver survived the crash with unknown injuries.
Victorville Fire Department responded and confirmed the deaths, but there were no identities released.
Authorities closed down Highway 395 between La Mesa Road and Bear Valley Road, police said.
