Two Killed in Apple Valley Crash at Central and Walpi Roads

Jimmy Terriquez Killed in Collision at Apple Valley Intersection

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (April 10, 2025) — Jimmy Joseph Terriquez, 32, of Victorville, and Marcos Lopez, 16, of Victorville, both died early Wednesday in an Apple Valley crash at Central and Walpi roads.

The deadly collision occurred around 12:01 a.m. on April 9th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Police responded to the Apple Valley intersection and located the Victorville man and his juvenile passenger in a Dodge Charger were found deceased at the scene. The car had been traveling northbound when its driver lost control at a curve in the roadway. The Dodge collided with a wooden pole and sustained major front-end damage.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is heading up the investigation.
