
REDLANDS, Calif. (April 17, 2023) — Two young men ages 25 and 26 years old died in a solo-vehicle rollover crash in Redlands early Sunday morning on Pioneer Avenue.
The collision occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Pioneer Avenue in San Bernardino County, according to KTLA 5 News. The vehicle reportedly hit a cement light pole prior to overturning onto its roof, police said.
The Redlands Fire Department responded with paramedics and located a white Toyota sedan overturned on its roof with the two men trapped inside.
Firefighters extricated the two occupants, but sadly both of them died at the scene.
The identity of the young men was not released by officials, pending notification of their net of kin.
The Redlands fatal crash is under investigation by police.
Officials did not mention if speed or drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.
