Luke Coughlin, Gregory Coughlin Killed in Crash on I-405 Freeway in Torrance
TORRANCE, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2024) – Luke Coughlin, 24, and Gregory Coughlin, 57, both died Monday night in a three-vehicle crash on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Torrance.
The multi-vehicle traffic accident occurred around 11:44 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11th, just south of Crenshaw Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A grey Honda Civic sedan and a white sedan were involved in a collision in the HOV and fast lanes. One witness called 911 to report seeing one of the vehicles hit the center divider and debris went over into northbound traffic lanes. Also, a dark blue sedan overturned onto its roof in the fast lane of the freeway.
Two men identified as 24-year-old Luke Coughlin and his father, 57-year-old Gregory Coughlin died following the collision. If you would like to help the family here is a link to their Gofundme.
